http://www.rawstory.com/2017/01/trump-to-meet-with-putin-within-weeks-of-his-inauguration-report/Donald Trump plans to hold a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin within weeks of becoming president, according to The Sunday Times.
Trumps first trip overseas as president will reportedly be a meeting with Putin in the Icelandic capital Reykjavik, the U.K. newspaper reported on Saturday evening.
The meeting will address both nations nuclear arsenals, the Times said, citing unnamed sources.

(2,573 posts)crap. He's so dumb for not even laying low for awhile....be discreet/secret with his contact. He's just such a Trashpot. Good let him meet him...let everybody know... it's just going to keep feed the narrative that he is a traitorous, compromised rat bastard. Trash and smut got him into office and I truly believe that is what will get him out.

Two weeks is not enough time to prepare for a major negotiation (i.e., nuclear weapons) with a major player such as Russia. "The Art of the Deal" is going to get real, real quick.

(13,616 posts)Rasputin's intern Donald Trump make sure to meet him promptly, Vlad will be mad as his personal friend T Rex is not Secretary of State yet, and poor Donald is going to get punished if that doesn't happen.
And if you think that the choice of the venue, a.k.a. the northernmost frontier of the EU, who the Russians are trying to woo so that they can isolate Scandinavia, is an accident, I have some fine Florida swampland to sell you cheap.

(13,616 posts)I could make any number of jokes that Donald lends himself to, but frankly I do not want to become part of the normalization of behaviors such as grabbing certain parts of the anatomy. However, I do hope he experiences the sort of degradation that makes "a golden shower" at the Moscow Ritz-Carlton seem like getting a Nobel Prize. After all, Mr. Trump is not nearly as professional, or as trustworthy as your typical "escort" that works at the Moscow Ritz-Carlton. Hell let's face it, for all his experience in the hotel business, Trump couldn't even get a job for Ritz-Carlton, especially considering that the Ritz-Carlton is now owned by Marriott hotels, which means that Mr. Trump would have to ask his good friend Mitt Romney to hire him. As much as I despise Romney, to the idea of Trump having to come to him for an interview is an exquisite image.
