The scene of all of them climbing that tower or what ever it was (been a while since I have seen the movie) to save the child.. one of the best scenes..

It's a fun 80s cheese-fest. I watch it whenever it's on. The storyline is ridiculous, but it's a great product of it's (paranoid) time.

If you're talking about the remake, you're dead to me (kidding).

taking over parts of the United States.

The Manchurian Candidate is a better analogy. Not a movie anymore. More of an historical drama.
