How are you folks doing? What are you doing to manage stress?

Looking for a sense of how we're staying focused and positive, understanding the unpleasant context.

I'm not giving in to the fear and hope the same for you.

Loathing, that's another matter.

i can still read whatever I want, speak my mind and enjoy my astounding luck to live in this country. I heip others and focus on improving myself rather than focusing too much on what I can't control.

The insane president-elect, the selfish and disinterested Republican politicians, they cannot take away my capacity to love my God and others and to believe in a higer purpose. Gratitude and faith is not a luxury, it is a necessity.

No matter what they say, alcohol always helps with stress. Over thirty years as a functioning alcoholic here, not bad

I hope today was a good day.

I've slowed way way down.

I have a regular excercise group I get to three x a week. That and swimming in the ocean regularly helps a lot.

These stress vites work wonders for me. New-Chapter-Perfect-Calm-Multivitamin

They ease my physical anxiety and I can take them on an empty stomach.

The first couple of weeks, poi was the only thing I could eat. It's better now.

Hugs and much aloha dear Hekate.

Have not needed them for years but after a near meltdown a couple of weeks ago I began taking them again. Really helps take the edge off of my anxiety.

I walk my dog.

I've called out a couple of the Cheeto Horde on their stupidity to their faces... I'm a large man, this strategy is not advised for everyone

Culled my social media

I post more often here than I ever have before

And I drink (I still have and require a clearance, so no weed in my life)
