(4,407 posts)i can still read whatever I want, speak my mind and enjoy my astounding luck to live in this country. I heip others and focus on improving myself rather than focusing too much on what I can't control.
The insane president-elect, the selfish and disinterested Republican politicians, they cannot take away my capacity to love my God and others and to believe in a higer purpose. Gratitude and faith is not a luxury, it is a necessity.

I've slowed way way down.
I have a regular excercise group I get to three x a week. That and swimming in the ocean regularly helps a lot.
These stress vites work wonders for me. New-Chapter-Perfect-Calm-Multivitamin
They ease my physical anxiety and I can take them on an empty stomach.
The first couple of weeks, poi was the only thing I could eat. It's better now.

(825 posts)Have not needed them for years but after a near meltdown a couple of weeks ago I began taking them again. Really helps take the edge off of my anxiety.

(13,461 posts)I love doing things with my dogs. I have a 6 month old puppy to train and a 6 year old dog that I participate in dog agility with. I can work with them and forget this horrible shit for a little while.
