Hannity interviewed him just a couple of weeks ago...and believed every word, apparently. Assange is in no danger from the drumpenfuhrer.

Which is why it seems odd that people here are so anxious for him to come face the music. At this point it is no BFD.

He is where he has been for years, in the Ecuadorean embassy in London. Whether his motivation is to avoid a rape charge, or to avoid extradition to the US following arrest on a trumped-up rape charge depends, apparently, on one's opinions about his actions (Wikileaks' release of information from Chelsea Manning).

Under Swedish law, charges had to be brought after the women went to the police.

I said his motivation is disputed, based on one's view of Assange. Included in that is whether or not the rape charge is "trumped up" or a ploy by our beloved CIA.

The phrase used was "in hiding." I've always considered "hide" a necessary part of being "in hiding."
