Thanks for expressing what has been sitting like a cold stone at the bottom of my craw these past months. I'm sick of playing nice. Bullies don't respect nice. They laugh at nice. They use nice. Then they just roll right over nice. It's about time we learned that lesson.

Time to stand for what we believe, wholly and completely, no compromise. Whatever it takes.

Thanks for the welcome, NewJeffCT. Feels like home to me.

What disgusts me is and always will be my number one reason for pushing ANYONE who voted for Fuckump out of my life is the fact that after this cretin, this arrogant narcissistic sociopath mocked a disabled journalist on TV...ON FUCKING TV, and STILL go 60 million votes..... think about that..... approx. 60 million people said "hey fuck that disabled guy who cares"...... nope not me, I will never acknowledge Fuckump as my president.

Trump mocked a disabled person, has repeatedly talked about and acted on sexually assaulting women and teenage girls, continues to judge women on their looks and as a public figure, sets this behavior as an acceptable standard.

That he is using a social media app as a tool to bully and harass people and organizations.

Where I am different is I am concerned about your politics. Your politics is a lot more than how you feel about defense spending or the national debt, it goes to the core of who you are as a person. A republican doesn't see a poor or homeless person as someone in need of help, they see a criminal or drug addict or lazy moocher trying to take their money or all three.

A person voting for trump: a nasty, narcissistic, racist and xenophobic fascist, is as natural for a republican as drinking water.

It's not about politics. It's not about party lines. It's what he represented in his campaign and what he's done in his past. And what his history is. All the people who voted for only what they saw in his campaign can suck my proverbial dick, but I'll still fight for you. If you don't know the trail of lies, fraud and deceit that he's wrought in his lifetime, you weren't paying attention. If you think he's a "good businesssman" you either are not a business person yourself, or you're deluding yourself. If you think he's going to be looking out for you...I've got a bridge to sell you.

At the end of they day, I (and many, many others) will still be fighting for the people who voted for him, even though I'd love nothing more than for them to experience the consequences of their votes. I'll still be fighting for them even though they didn't realize what they were doing. I'll be standing up fighting for people who don't have a clue of what they have to lose.

he tried to do the whole "just a regular hard working american that hillary ignored and complainging about hollywood".

but he revealed himself when he said how he liked Trump because he was "tough" or some shit like that. because it can't be wealth he has a problem with since Trump also claims to be wealthy and doens't live like most "regular" americans.

yes, it was the bigotry that appealed to him.

AND, it does work when used both ways.

Since November 8th, I have shifted gears into a new strategy in social interaction.

On social media, or in comments sections around the internet,

When I see a woman posting pro-trump crap, I grade her on her appearance. I will call her a "4, and a pig", or "your pores are horrible, you should do something about that." Or "you really should look into changing your makeup selection, you look like a clown."

When I see a senior citizen, or someone who is retired... "You are old, a loser, and should just die off to make way for productive Americans." Or "Isn't it time to change your depneds."

If a minority, I use racist comments. If they start off with "I'm gay, but...". I use homophobic language. If they're the archetypal white male, but their profile shows they are married, or have children, I insult their families.

As expected, this almost always solicits some kind of strong response from them, where I then ask "So, if you are not okay with me talking to you (or your family) like this, why the fuck did you support a President of the United States of America that does so??? You've asked us "snowflakes" to get thicker skin, and get with Trump's America, well here you go, this is me getting with the program YOU supported. If you really do find what I said as vile as I do, then STOP SUPPORTING IT!!!"

This approach is absolutely repulsive to me, but it has worked with more than a few people I've engaged with in these mediums. Of course, you still have some that are more than happy to just engage on that level, but on others I have at the least got them rethinking.

I'm certainly open to any suggestions that can actually get the point across to them on what they've actually supported.

I've tried logic, and that fails miserably.

I've tried appealing to human decency with no luck at all.

It's just like that dipshit that posted that he was soooo happy that "Obamacare" is getting repealed, and was optimistic that the Republicans and Trump would make improvement's to the ACA.. never realizing until the end that the two were actually the same thing. They don't recognize the vileness of what they elected until it's actually affecting, or being used on them.

We've lost elections before. It keeps getting worse with the GOP. I never thought it could get worse than George W Bush.

From Nixon to Reagan to Bush Jr to Trump, it is like a steep downhill slide.
