Has Trump ever said anything we like? Just saw a brilliant ad

by FuelsAmerica. Albeit members include Monsanto and Dupont. Forget all that - it's the strategy that's brilliant.

In support of ethanol subsidies and the RFS - Renewable Fuel Standard, Fuels America dug up a bit of a speech Trump delivered pledging his full support. The ad is all American hooplah with flags and thanks the president elect for his full support.

No secret all GOP not on board with any kind of government involvement in subsidies. Cruz boldly opposed it even in Iowa. So, for FA to pin Trump down like that - appealing to his huge ego - pdc.

Trying to remember if Trump said anything we are for - where we could do the same thing.

That seems fair to push it over 100% when he does that. So, yeah we can call it more than 100%

in the general election.

I was enjoying his mental illness when he was in the process of winning the GOP nomination. Now?

7. Why am I skeptical?

Probably because Trump can't see cause and effect when it comes to his popularity. He doesn't want people to love him because he does the right thing, he wants, demands, and craves adulation because he is himself.

and they should reflect the state of the country. No health care? The approval ratings should drop. I hope.

10. I honestly don't think he wants good ratings based on results

In fact, I think some of the ugly behavior is the spoiled child acting up because he wants proof that he is lovable no matter what he does. When the ratings go down, he doesn't change course, he attacks the polls. I don't see him EVER asking himself "what can I do differently to make myself more popular?". Instead, he doubles down on his "Trumpness."

Welcome to the world of a true narcissist.

14. It sure would be interesting to see what his reaction would be to an ad praising

him on Healthcare with clips of Healthcare for everyone, how it will be better and cheaper. At the Super Bowl for millions to see. Would he just trash the messenger? Even for him, it would be hard to spin - given in his own words. Although he did that with the mocking of the disabled reporter. Just think if someone did it it could be enormously entertaining.

He said everyone will have "Healthcare." He didn't say if it will actually be worthwhile.

You can have healthcare, but it will be a sub-catastrophic pile of shite that still allows you to go bankrupt, since that's all you can afford now. Asking Trump to deliver is like making a wish to the monkey's paw.

11. What's the point? No reason to think he or his supporters accepting praise on one issue

will mean they start being reasonable on something else. More likely, people who aren't his supporters but aren't dead against him will see it and think "well, we better give Trump a chance after all".

Is it just to try and convince ourselves that things could be even worse?
