My tribute to PBO

I know there is an appreciation thread, but wanted to share what I posted on social media:

"I rarely make political posts, but as today being last day of President Obama’s time in office I need to state how his time in office has affected me and my family. The recession he inherited was hard on all of us, especially my wife and I. Those of you who know us know the story. Thank you again President Obama for saving the country from a second Great Depression, saving my engineering career and my home. If Senator McCain had won the 2008 election, it is possible my life would be the same as it is now, maybe better. But it’s also possible we would have had to relocate to a place who knows where, doing a job who knows what. But right now I have the best job I’ve ever had and it pays well. Our home is paid off and we’ll be where we are for a while. Every politician endures a level of hate, but to question a person’s citizenship and religion crosses the line, yet he took the high road. With the new president, who knows what the next four years will bring? Hope for the best."
