Small Standing Rock protest on F street. Few hundred people. Very well behaved, some drumming and chanting. Asshole in tuxedo walks by and yells "fuck you all!"

Much larger protest (anti- Trump) outside National Press Union, several thousand, big police presence.

Barricades and cages everywhere. Traffic gridlock due to closed streets. Choppers overhead back and forth...
