Late Thursday night (can't sleep) the AP published a report stating a Russian hacker wanted by the US for involvement in the DNC intrusion was arrested in Spain last week. The Spanish are adjudicating extradition.
I hope by morning there's more on this.

(2,770 posts)If we continue to bring up the Trump/Putin connection on social media and to our circle, if we pressure our representatives to remember by calling and writing, if our (historic) allies work on this as well, and if a few journalists with integrity and courage follow the story, you could be proven wrong. So that's what I'm hanging my hat on for right now.

(9,974 posts)OUR POTUS is still POTUS for several more hours. The clock is ticking...
Put the hacker in the hands of one of our allies (UK?) so tiny hand man can't get a hold of him at 12:01 pm.
Literally just read that tiny hand's first place to visit on Saturday is gonna be the CIA building for the swearing in of his newly appointed director. Maybe they can also direct him to a room for, um, questioning, while he is there.

(9,974 posts)Put on this news website a day ago....apparently it looks like our media (surprise) is the last to report it. And this guy has been in Spain custody since Jan 13??
I googled his name and several news articles came up, including this one.

(9,974 posts)Russia, Spain, International Business website, Italy (I think?) all have news articles. Only US one is Fox World or something.
I'm sure as the day goes on the US MSM will report it but for real right now it's all foreign media links via Google.

(9,974 posts)If there is no coverage
Notice how in all the reporting that they have done over tiny hands' comments yesterday NONE of them picked up on his repeated comment that "next time we will win the OLD FASHIONED WAY".
He said it at least twice, saw it on live coverage at 2 events.

Hello, no fly list????

(16,230 posts)The article linked to in the OP said nothing about the DNC hack, yet nearly everyone in this thread jumped to that conclusion.
When we make these kinds of unwarranted assumptions it hurts our credibility. Then when real evidence comes along it's more difficult to convince people that it's real.
