Don't get me wrong everything his presidency stood for is largely detestable. Thanks to Cheney and gang trillions were wasted, hundreds of thousands died needlessly and the vacuum they created in the middle East allowed for the rise of ISIS. But Bush himself as an individual I've always seen as something of a meek and easily cowed buffoon. Controlled by much darker forces in his government. I almost feel sorry for him... Almost. At any rate by comparison to Trump I think Bush may be a downright fine fellow. So long as you don't talk politics. Trump on the other hand is a sociopathic narcissist who knows how to use people, enjoys using people, and is drunk on his own power and ego. He's a despicable human being.

Guy seems to be enjoying his post-presidency.

He doesn't have that perpetually peeved thing, anymore, that so many active republucan pols have while they're still in office. I dont know, maybe they feel they need to adopt that persona because their base is so angry.
