Chris Matthews needs a fact checker

Twice today I heard Chris Matthews say Donald Trump is the first President in modern history to be elected President
without previously being elected to political office.

What about Dwight Eisenhower?
He was in the army, Head of NATO, President of Columbia University, and then President.

consign MSNBC to the dustbin of history? It doesn't matter if they occasionally have Chris Haynes or Rachel Maddow, but we know damn well that they did as much to help Trump get elected perhaps even more than Fox in the henhouse news. I'm sorry Rachel, but when I watch you, I watch the people who paid Chris Matthews and Joe Scarborough's salary and I cannot do that.

Is MSNBC supposed to be part of the Liberal Media we've been hearing about for years? Could have fooled me. How about a real, energetic, Fox "News" equivalent, spouting honest-to-God liberal opinions, 24-7? Is that just too much to ask for? If there were any doubt of a solid audience existing before, I think Trump has taken care of such concerns.

They research nothing and put it on the air for millions to watch and hear. Or, is that not "modern history"?
