Lovely weather, sunny and mid-80s. A big crowd here. Have no estimate on size but for a small city, it was a big crowd of women, men, and kids with signs like Love Trumps Hate, Respect, We welcome all POC and immigrants. Great attitudes everywhere!! Although we saw some bikers at the old Fort, they were interested in sightseeing, not disturbances.

I left about 2:00 pm when it became clear there would not be a March. We were supposed to March up Independence to the Ellipse, but Independence was jammed, as was the Mall and Constitution. Incredible crowd.

Planners did not expect such a huge crowd, so did not have adequate loudspeakers and Jumbotrons. That I'm sorry about, as I understand some of the speakers were great. But the crowd was in good spirits, the weather cooperated, and maybe we scared the shit out of some politicians
