The message I got today: YOU (all of us) are not alone

one of the top strategies of the extreme radical right is to control the media (corporate) and make people feel like not going with the crowd makes a person an outlier someone who doesn't fit in with what the rest of the world or country is doing.

I felt that way in the early days of Bush until I had a forum like this to connect with similar minded folk.

Obviously the huge turnouts across the land and the world demonstrated to one and all that we are not a bunch of outliers, but indeed we are the very heart and soul of America. It also demonstrated that if we stand together we can stop them from their insane agenda.

This will take work and commitment, but today we demonstrated to everyone that we are out there and ready to stand up to the evil that is Trump and the extreme radical right that is a wholly owned subsidiary of corporate America and the Koch brothers

I kept watching the waves of people joining our protest and I just about broke into tears of pride and knowing that we had so much company.
The organizer expected less than 100 and we had @2000 on short notice.

Got to the hotel room and cried seeing the people all over the world protesting...I thought I was going a little crazy before, now I know I'm in line with millions!

Your numbers were fantastic!

after leaving in 2009. I need the humor, the opinions and the rest. I need to not feel alone I also felt that way at the march. But sometimes I hate this place because it is so negative and sometimes I am that negative. It's a give and take.

They want people to feel alone and scared and powerless. When you can see how many are standing with you, it changes the game.

but they dare not say it out loud because taking away the freedom to assemble online will be extremely unpopular.

ETA - therefore it will be done behind closed doors and without any media coverage if possible.
Maybe even with a middle of the night vote like they did with the ethics committee.
