Not having watched MSNBC since Election Night, may I ask: WTF??

Watching news on a Saturday night. No prison porn. News. Brian Williams. Serious talking heads.

I heard a word never before heard since Trump came on the political scene. The word was "LIE."

Covering his CIA visit and citing the LIE that he wasn't in feud with CIA Director Brennan or the Agency.

Covering Spicer's POW-like presser remarks and calling his facts LIES.

Jim Warren telling the tale of penning a piece today using a euphemism for the word LIE. He was shelled with email, comments and tweets telling him to use the right word to say what he meant. He said he will change his editorial style and use the word when appropriate from now on.

How long has this been going on?

Side note: at the march in DC today there was s sign taking the media to task. On the sign were Joke and MikaMouse as prime examples of our failed, biased media.

Malcom Nance is a great commentator on intelligence issues.

Rachel has a dog in the fight, being a married gay woman.

I don't watch Morning Joe, but from Chris Myers to Larry O'Donnell in the evening, I can usually watch.

Just since today when Trump was at CIA and then Sean Spicer's tantrum.

They are pissed.

Brian Williams' show was a surprise. They talked about it being time to call Trump a liar.

Brian Williams was very good. Yes, they used the word LIE with Twitler...on two counts...Spicer and Twitler lying about crowd inaugural crowd size, and Twitler lying about his comments re:intelligence.

They were accused of reporting fake news, then were lied to by the press secretary numerous times, then not allowed to ask questions. They were also told that the Administration would hold the press "accountable."

But I think, in general, the press is fighting back after Trump accused CNN of being fake news, and wouldn't take any questions from Jim Acosta. (Acosta is telling it like it is on twitter today.)

In some ways this asshole might be a blessing. People are indeed having to look what they believe and how much they believe it. And decide if they're willing to fight.

It's easier, and maybe more profitable, to be truthful about what is true and what's a lie if a huge number of your audience already understands that.

Never accept a pig's invitation to a wrestling contest. Win or lose, you'll both get covered in shit, and the pig actually LIKES that.

Still, I'm not complaining. This is a quick way for MSNBC to increase their ratings. That'll start a competition between CNN and MSNBC to see who can insult Trump more, and thus win the most viewers.

I was lured in by someone telling me Spicer was about to have a poutfest for Trump over the crowd size.

I came away wondering if Trump waging war on the press may be a good thing after all? I'm not convinced yet, but I may check back more to see how this evolves.

For the record, I'm usually a newspaper (online subscriptions) person, and those have been much better lately, too!

My way of unwinding is to log in to DU and toggle back and forth between CNN and MSNBC, so I am now with Brian Williams too -- or was, now Lawrence O'Donnell is on. This is presumably all reruns, but we are 3 hours behind DC, and it was at least 7 by the time I walked in my own door.

So, yeah, WTF?

Brian W repeats himself, but the only thing I objected to was his plaintive, "Where were all these people on election day?" Dammit, WE were voting. HRC won our votes by 3 million. MY question is, "Brian, where were YOU in the Media all last year?" All last year.

Other than that quibble, this is stunning. Don Lemon and his panel, Brian Williams and his guests -- nearly all of them calling out Tinyhands on his (say the word out loud now) LIES.
