We need to cut him some slack and give credit where credit is due. In his victory speech after the election, he stated "...I say it is time for us to come together as one united people."
Today, in his very first day as leader of the not-quite-so-free-as-it-was-yesterday world, he has already achieved that very goal. Today, we saw people all over the world coming together, united in the common goal to fight racism, bigotry, misogyny, and overall general stupidity, especially as it applies to newly-elected leaders that spent an entire election cycle fomenting those very same things.
Yes, in his very first day in office, Trump has united an estimated 3 million people for a common cause. Granted, that's less than half the number of people that attended his inauguration ceremony according to Sean "Baghdad Bob" Spicer , but hey, at least it's a start.
