I watched Noam Chomsky's "Requiem for America" on Netflix and later listened to some Pavarotti and other music.

I'd rather stick a needle in my eye than watch that big, fat slob or orangeness in my living room.

P.S. If you haven't seen Chomsky's documentary, please make it a point to watch.

Joking!

I've seen it. I love Chomsky! I've sent him some e-mails in the past and he always replied.

He's a walking, talking encyclopedia of political knowledge.

Hey, Buckeye Democrat! Born and raised in Cleveland myself

Chomsky is a highly intellectual man but can explain political knowledge with regards to economics in layman's terms which is important.

He can cite historical examples to support his arguments amazingly well.

I mentioned him to my older brother months ago and he said, "Oh, yeah! He's the guy that Dad saw on a political TV show years ago, and Dad exclaimed he was one of the smartest men he'd ever heard."

in those days there was nowhere else to turn with 3 commercial networks and a fledgling PBS. no computers or gaming devices.
So if you were watching any TV that day it would be Nixon
