I guess we'll need to figure out a way to build a wall along the Canadian border too.

(34,058 posts)Passports have been required to cross into Mexico or Canada for several years (and other countries long before that). (2007 for public transportation entry; 2009 for foot traffic or private car.)

(67,780 posts)You do, I hope, realize it was sarcasm. "Any jurisdictional border" would include you leaving your town or county and going to the next one to go to work.
Yes, I know passports are required to go to Canada or Mexico. My own passport is well used.

At the end of the CBS article, it said border agents don't need to explain why they detain people and have jurisdiction to do it when ever they feel it's needed. So it's possible there was a bigly Trump supporting border agent helping to make sure America is made great again by keeping out the riff raff.
