3. Which is the correct number?

I saw this on Joy Reid's show earlier this morning (Michael Moore was on as well), and Moore said that the number was XXX-225-XXXX -- which is correct? I assume the XXX-224-XXXX since you said you used it, but I just wanted to be sure. Moore seemed pretty adamant that it was XXX-225-XXXX -- you think this would be one thing you would wanna be sure you get right!

8. Number I called was 202-224-3121...

... then you go through phone menu, enter your zip code, and it connects you to your senators or representative office number. It was really easy.

4. Is it worth doing if you live in heavily blue districts.

I'm in SF and pretty sure my congresswoman and senators are already on board.

6. Call and thank them

Everybody calls when they are pissed. I'm sure they would appreciate a pat on the back.

7. Find a red district in your state. Find a zip code in that district

http://www.nytimes.com/elections/results/california

Call the congressman. When they ask for your zip code give a zip code located in that district.

Example: Jeff Denham represents district 10, which includes the entire city of Modesto (I assume it is a purple district, so more likely to listen) Google Modesto zip codes to find one. http://www.zipmap.net/California/Stanislaus_County/Modesto.htm
