is "female dog" and, it's frequently used as just a derogatory synonym for "woman" or ,"female" and THAT is what I'm protesting.

You are however, correct in assuming that I am unaware and disconnected from a huge swath of popular culture, as I live in Chiang Mai, Thailand. It's been close to twenty-years since I actually lived and socialized in the US.
