GOP Looking At Passing Laws Making Protesting A Felony.

The battle is really about to begin. And protesters could be arrested and charged with felonies. The GOP is also a monster and Trump is only part of our problem. The act like they will rule with an iron fist. This stolen election has emboldened the GOP and their real image is now clear. They are the monsters and terrorists of the country. The terrorists will not destroy the country. The GOP and Trump will.

3. As I Understand It The Law Would Make Blocking Traffic Or Interfering With Commerce A Felony.

The law would be so vague it would cover just about any protest. Plus being a felony would allow the police to us "any force necessary" to break up protest. They could probably actually shoot people if they felt they were in danger.

Can you offer some specifics that we, as activists, can rail against?

Without anything more than vague accusations, this thread just stirs up some hate.

Action, not hate.

That's what the March was about.

Apparently some protesters were arrested in DC during march and have been charged with felonies.

The people being charged with felony rioting are the ones who showed up with crow bars on Inauguration Day....the ones that were creating chaos and breaking windows.

Showing up to a protest with a crow bar...and then using it? I have no problem making that a felony.

But to be clear - no one marching on Saturday was charged with felony.

Peace ~

But that's a bit of a thread hijacking and kinda changes the subject.

My point in participating in this thread was to clarify that no one had been arrested at the March, as the OP suggests in the title.

And showing up to the actual inauguration - no matter which side won - with a crow bar which was then used, should be a punishable offense. Though I doubt anyone will serve a full ten year sentence when/if convicted.

Activists are blasting a new North Dakota bill that would exempt a driver from liability if they unintentionally run over a Dakota Access Pipeline protester blocking traffic on a public road or highway.

North Dakota state Rep. Keith Kempenich, a Republican, said the bill, which is in response to the anti-DAPL protests around the controversial pipeline construction site, was needed to prevent protesters from blocking roadways and to protect drivers who accidentally
