(5,810 posts)we can expect tRump to be in perpetual snit mode for the duration of his Presidency....ever how long it lasts.
It's not like we didn't know this is how it would be. People with knowledge of Narcissistic Personality Disorder (in all of its many flavors) and people who have actually interviewed tRump (and gotten to see him up close and personal) told us over and over the truth about the man. He is a petty, vindictive, manipulative and self absorbed shell of a human being. He is to be pitied for the sad, painful life he must have had for his 70 years on earth. I can't imagine the hell it must be to never be satisfied or fulfilled even with the privileged life he has led. To always want more and not be able to appreciate what he has is a sad commentary on his life.
That he managed to con his way to the highest elected office in the world should alarm every one of us. Somewhere along the line he should have been stopped. The mechanisms SHOULD have been in place to make sure no one with this disorder ever set foot in the Oval Office as our leader. And yet, we find ourselves in this awful place where a truly sick man is our President. Our only options to be rid of this man are in our constitution and the will of Congress to proceed with the remedies to this nightmare.
There are many questions from this whole debacle that brought us to this place. Why did so many otherwise intelligent people fall under his spell? Why did people who knew this man and all of his many flaws not intervene to stop the madness? Why were people who did try to intervene ignored? How did another country successfully infiltrate our electoral system to influence the outcome? The American people deserve answers and we will get them sooner or later. I just hope that the people with the power to get at the truth...the facts...will do the right thing and investigate everything about this problem. And before too much more time goes by, tRump must be stopped. I don't know exactly how it can be done, but for the good of our democracy, the good of the world, he must be removed and replaced. Our job as citizens has just begun. We must demand answers and a remedy to this tragic chapter in our nation's history.
