Is Drumpfy setting up the unions to make everyone hate them when the cost of goods go up because of his tariffs while few net jobs are created as they are replaced by machines?

He hates unions... He did everything he could to avoid using union labor in his NY projects and refused to unionize his Las Vegas hotel.

By destroying unions he can drive wages even lower for his rich pals.

I wish union leaders had turned their backs on him rather than kissed the ring . . . or whatever.

That's why they were at the WH. Of course some unionized workers in companies that depend on exports are going to be screwed.

...and embrace the modern world.

More and more companies get away with "salary" workers, depriving them of overtime pay. Granted a number of companies really do want to give the benefits of salary to employee's....but you have middle management who toss that so they look "good" when they hit their targets.

Unions need to go after the salaried people. And it doesn't have to be monetized compensation, you work six hours of overtime, then take a day off with pay. Which is what the benefits of "salary" used to be about, work a couple of extra hours during the week, leave early on Friday...no big deal. But now its being abused. They shouldn't go after just the blue collar worker, but the white collar as well.
