The idea is to not spread the risk. Just pay for coverage for things you think you might need. Bare bones practically worthless policies sold to the overwhelmed average citizen consumer thinking he got a deal. Feeling lucky?
The biggest hit seems to be to women who will most likely need policies that include OB/GYN and maternity care during their reproductive years. Men can opt out of that. If you develop a chronic condition like diabetes, or require expensive care/prescriptions after enrolled in your budget policy, you are on your own. Definitely not an improvement to the ACA

There has been a joke for a few years that the Repub. health care plan is "you die".

But that is exactly what the above says....
no cancer testing, screenings, treatment.

I hope intelligent people in MN are publicizing this far and wide to their nit wit Repub. neighbors.
