Grant County Nebraska....whoa

"The black bomb" is how one rancher describes Trump's predecessor. "This guy came out of the sewers of Chicago. How could he be good?" The rancher's not about to give his name to someone with the "Clinton News Network" -- what he calls CNN -- but he and his friends are happy to rail against the former administration. Obamacare is right up there on the list of things gone wrong, they say.

The all hate Obama and Obama care but their on it only because they have to be. Well hey rednecks,Trump and his minions will take care of that little problem for you, then you can have NONE. That's better.....right?!?!?

Anyone in the agricultural business who takes a subsidy (a.k.a price support), is keeping food of the market, in turn making them a murderer.

These fucking rancher can go to hell.

Sorry to rain on the subsidy parade, but ranchers in those parts do not receive yearly subsidies like farmers. They only get compensation for major disasters like the drought of 2012, which is pretty much the only time in the last few decades on record the county got agricultural subsidies. Grant county's subsidies since 1995 account for less than 0.0% of Nebraskas total subsidies. This is all public information.....

They don't know what they don't know.(and don't care).all they know is they did not like a Black Man in the White House..racism at it's core..and now..the so called Christian right are happy with the suffering of so many women who will not have reproductive healthcare...The American Indian community - well, we all know the history there..White Man speaks with forked tongue..the Environment - well, that will take a back seat to greed - no need to worry about the climate..there is no climate change - just normal weather changing patterns..

Poor people just get poorer..the unfortunate among us who are not healthy, too bad..those block grants suggested for Medicaid, states will give a little, and take a lot..there is no oversight...I could go on and on...

trumphumpers don't know what they don't know..and will NOT research ever!

Hey, I'm living in the state, all those farmers hate the big government, but sure take all those subsidies willingly. I'm sure the guy listens to the talk radio all day long.

Peace

Sorry to rain on the subsidy parade, but ranchers (this area is almost exclusively livestock production) in those parts do not receive yearly subsidies like farmers. They only get compensation for major disasters like the drought of 2012, which is pretty much the only time in the last few decades on record the county got agricultural subsidies. Grant county's subsidies since 1995 account for less than 0.0% of Nebraskas total subsidies. This is all public information.....

When the government subsidizes something, like crops, it it their way of controlling what, how, and when things are produced. Just like subsidizing health care, it's about control. The article emphasizes the independence of these people, which is why they're not constantly subsidized, they like being in control of their own operations and having independence is important to them.
