My friend's wife works for the EPA.

She was describing an absolute mad rush and scramble in the run-up to inauguration to try and get all pending regulations finished and approved because the fear was everything would be gutted once the Madman took over.

Sounds as though they had real cause for concern.

Trump is a Molotov cocktail hurled into the heart of government. That's why fools voted for him.

Because he was persuaded to install Goldman Sachs to run the economy (as they have for decades), the plutocracy has been lulled into a sense of security while Trump obliterates all the parts of government that protected the people against the powerful.

Even fools are going to start to wake up as the government functions less and less in their favor.

This is not going to end well.

When due to my pre-existing condition I lost my health insurance---around the time I was diagnosed with St. 4 cancer---- I contemplated the cost of an expensive surgery, hospital stay, chemo and followup care out of pocket. My choice was bankruptcy to pay for everything or go to wealthy relatives and ask them to bail me out.

Then along came the ACA. Thank you, Pres. Obama! You and the Dem Congress saved my life, literally and financially.

It's time to dust off my 1969 anti-government tactics manual.
We have the numbers and it's time to leave our comfort zones and resist.
Like someone once said "We all came here in different boats, but we're all in the same boat now."

That's assuming the Clean Water Act and Clean Air Act do not get repealed. If the GOP repeals those Acts as "budensome regulations," prepare for our cities to look like Beijing and our countryside to look like an oil field.
