What will it be like in a month or two?

What will he do when he runs out of executive orders to sign? What happens when he visits every agency and gives an inappropriate speech at each one?

You know damn well he doesn't give a shit about being a working president. All he wants to be is the recipient of wide adulation and many huzzahs.

So what happens when he gets bored?

All I see here is people assuming the things he is doing won't be popular.

I am not so sure.

Despite all the outrages Trump is at 45/45 approve/disapprove in the latest Gallup poll, and higher in Rasmussen approval ratings.

Things like banning Muslim refugees/immigration from certain countries is likely to garner majority support. There are a lot of appalling policies that we hate because we understand what lies behind them, but most people do not. Take voter id laws. Those are very popular in most places because people don't really understand what the GOP pushes that stuff for.

I really hope we are not going to underestimate Trump. He is going to get a lot of stuff done considering he has all of congress to back him up. A lot of the things he signs will be popular whether we like it or not.

The man is extremely dangerous, we need to be very sure not to take the threat lightly and think we can laugh him off.

He is creating a new normal, one that is probably more right wing than anything in our lifetimes.

Are we really so sure that if he sends the national guard to Chicago to shut down gang violence that this won't be popular in many quarters? Really? I am not sure sure.

The painful part his we can do almost nothing.

Even the marches and massive demonstrations won't change the minds of the people who support him. A part of their plan will be to make them hate us even more than they do.

He'll talk about beating Little Marco, winning the popular vote by 20 millions, etc.
