Why the hurry of all the executive orders in 72 hours

Part of it is show -- following through on campaign rhetoric.

But I think it's because Trump doesn't expect to be in the White House for much longer. Not that he expects to wait to get impeached. He wants out. He'll do as much damage as the Constitution will allow, then resign.

The big letdowns (no infrastructure bill, no Obamacare replacement) in legislation from congress will inevitably make him very sad and angry.

Better presidents have had frustrations with congress, this job will either have him impeached or drive him to resign.

Ignore what Trump says - especially the lies. That's just gaslighting. Watch what he does. These EOs are not coming from him. He's being fed his instructions from the wings.

If I had to hazard a guess, the path of the EOs goes from Aleksandr Dugin to Putin, to the Heritage Foundation, to Steve Bannon, to Trump's pen for signature.

he thought that he was going to be welcomed as some kind of political messiah. I don't think that his ego has allowed him to recognize that the majority of Americans did not want him as president.

During the campaign, when he gave up one of his brief 'pivots' to the center, he flat out said that without his fire and brimstone speech, his crowds weren't as enthusiastic.

what he imagines a President does. Sits there and signs proclamations that things will be the way he thinks they should be. I would bet anything that this is his sole mind image of the job of a President. Remember at the debates he kept telling Hillary that she was in politics for 30 years and hadn't done anything? This is his idea of doing something. Man of action that he is. When it comes to actual governing, politicing and finessing with Congress? He's back in New York. He would have no idea and doesn't even recognize it as part of the job.

He may know he's as guilty as sin for manipulating the election with the Russians.
If this is true, he also knows that it's a matter of time before this information comes out - and don't discount the sordid stuff that others may know about him.

or he is a malignant narcissist
or this is instant payback for any slight, ever
or he is providing the wretchedly evil Republican Congress a perfect smoke screen and media magnet of an oafish reality show buffoon on speed so they can systematically destroy the freedoms physical world and humanity of every American who is not a white conservative, misogynistic wealthy, bigoted male filled with "alternative" Christian entitlement.

Pick 1-5 or all of the above.

He doesn't want this (being President).

He DOES want his name in the history books and on executive orders and he wants to goof around in the White House for awhile and have some chicks pee on him there, and play dress up. Then he'll cite the business conflicts and he doesnt' want to give up control of his business and he'll resign when he's had enough. He doesn't let things happen to him on other people's terms, he makes his own terms and he will get them to drop the Russian hacking story in exchange for him just stepping down.
