Is media turning on Trump for the wrong reasons?

Ok, I think it's safe to say that Trump has pissed off most of the MSM. And, I'd like to believe that the major newspapers are taking the gloves off for noble reasons (for example the NY Times using the word "lie", etc.)

But here's another reason: MONEY.

Since Trump has been such a screw-up, and he is famous Z-list celeb. It looks like the media is treating him more like Charlie Sheen, than a bad President.

Simply put, the media may lose all restraint (as they appear to be doing), and follow the almighty dollar, to be first with the latest Trump-rage... and to use strong attention grabbing language, because they're selling more papers. Lurid interest sells papers.

I think the press is now going to beat him to a pulp. But not because they've "seen the light".

And not very well either.
He comes from a world of Page Six fluff
and Brietbart bullshit. Thank goodness
there are some real journalists out there
standing up for truth and integrity.

He hates looking foolish and inept and unpopular more than anything. The more the media and everyone else points this out the angrier he gets and the more manic and delusional he is exposed for being.

I really don't care what their motivation is as long as they keep it up.

And all of this is what many have said all along. The key to dealing with Republicans is mockery and laughter. Shouting about policy specifics and trying to explain details to people gets them nothing but glazed over eyes. They understand laughter. They understand mocking.

... the "wrong reasons" (AKA: $$$), will likely be far more damaging to him. A train-wreck celeb will be hounded... forever. The floodgates are open now, and Trump's thin skin, and inane reactions, are (and will) create a media feeding frenzy.

Yeah... well whatever works.

While everyone is mesmerized by the craziness of it all, the machine is grinding ahead with serious intent in so many areas it's hard to keep up. If he's going to implode, great, but in the meantime policies are already being put in place that will have major impact. We and the media need to be focused on that, which is much more complicated and far less fun.
