Keep Humiliating Trump Because it's Working

While it shouldn't normally be a goal to make the president do his job badly, when you have someone committed to rolling back women's rights, dismantling environmental protection, lying through his teeth and trampling all over the constitution, it is more than a noble goal -- it is a civic duty.

Trump spent maybe 20 seconds saying that sentence at the meeting.

Now it's all the news channels can talk about. There's like 50 threads here on DU about it.

Meanwhile, Trump is going about his business like nothing has happened. He's having the fucking union leaders visit the whitehouse and talking about big time construction projects. Requiring those projects to use US made steel and other products.

Those same unions endorsed Hillary, and here he is giving them a big win, and good paying jobs for the next 3-5 years. How do you think they're going to vote in 2018 and 2020?

Car companies have already announced movement of jobs back to the US, and now that he's fully in office, he's going to really start putting the screws to them.

If he starts creating a couple hundred thousand jobs in Michigan, Wisconsin, PA and other states he needs to carry, wtf are we going to do then?

But year, ridiculing him for an outrageous comment he made felt good!

just one quick link on this one:

http://krugman.blogs.nytimes.com/2016/11/19/infrastructure-build-or-privatization-scam/?_r=0

(Private companies will end up OWNING those roads & bridges.)

Oh, and the car companies were going to build that stuff here anyway. Plans in place before the election. Trump is just claiming credit.

Springs into existence? Nope, they have to hire workers to actually build that bridge.

And if Trump can give away a contract, he can certainly put some conditions on it like "hire that union to do some work."

That's why they're called Prime contractors. They are the ultimate ones responsible for a job, but they contract out pieces to different companies. A home builder will work with one company to lay a foundation, and another to build the frame, and another to lay the roof tiles, and another for the driveway. That's how the construction business works. It just works on a different scale for capital projects like pipelines.

You can bury your head in the sand and pretend it won't make a difference, but in 4 years this will hurt us, and hurt us bad if we don't get our message right.

Teensy little crowd
Sitting in the stands
Watched the orange fuhrer
Take his oath with tiny hands

Now the Groper is feeling bad!
No one thinks he's real.
Can't enjoy the White House
Tiny does he feel.

Whenever he issues one of his twitter edicts, quick witted Liberals are always among the first to respond with the ridicule.

Now he may or may not even read his responses (I'm betting he peeks) but there is a certain satisfaction that comes from being able to plant a big *FUCK YOU* smack dab in the middle of his "historical record." It may not be very productive, but it is therapeutic on some level. Some of the responses are hillarious.
