Don't adapt "Republican" tactics

Do I really need to explain this?

Republicans win through lies, deceit, "despicable" voter "laws," and every tactic that no decent human being would resort to. Nonetheless, that's how they "win." Sorry, but "win" is most often a Republican word for successful theft.

They've gerrymandered enough districts nationwide to ensure their dominance of state legislatures and governors to win. (Districts are based on the U.S. census which takes every t0 years. The next one is 2020.)

So here's what I'm saying. The next census is in 2020. Dems show up during presidential election years. With a bit of justice (luck), we will be able to control the next redistricting and turn out a Democratic majority in enough states.

Here's my point. Don't sit at home during the 2020 election.

And if you really give a shit, don't sit at home during the 2018 mid-term elections. Politicians pay attention to these things. And if you don't want to get fucked in every way possible, get out and vote. Vote for Democrats in every election across the board.

In case you haven't gotten it yer, the Republican Party will screw you beyond belief in every way they can. And even in ways you can't imagine. That's who they are. That's what they do.

to cheat.

We have to stay alert to their latest cheating methods and expose them loudly over and over so the media has to cover them. In the current media climate, the republican/trump administration having alienated them with their obvious "alternate facts", IMO major outlets will be more open to give our efforts coverage, as opposed to trump-favoring leanings during the campaign.

It has to be a concerted, sustained effort as we know they won't quit trying to cheat as that's the only way they "win" so we can't let up on trying to stop them.

We should also go after them by challenging their cheating legally in the courts over and over and over. Interstate Crosscheck that disenfranchised thousands of Dem voters for example is a poorly written program that can be challenged.

The party needs to created a dept. designed to specifically do this, with a site with a donation link to help fund this dept.

The Sanders' campaign's $27.00 model would be a good one to emulate.

And we need to get going asap.

But in too, too many ways Dems beilieve that voting is enough.

The fight never ends. And there are far more Republicans involved in an ongoing basis than Democrats?

How do we educate them? Here's my opinion. Education takes decades.

What workd very quickly is to scare the shit out of them

And Trump has done that. Unfortunately, the Dems in power don't know how to seize the moment. They have no idea how to drive home the very real terror we are facing. I hope they learn quickly and work to give us an edge.

(Then again, hope in one hand and pee in the other and see which one fills up first.)

I am skeptical about Democrats seizing the moment. And I hope I'm worng.
