...the real enemy is Paul Ryan and the Republicans, not so much Donald Trump. He is an excellent foil and deflector for the Republican agenda. Just sign on the dotted line, Donald.
But, the wall will not be build unless Congress appropriates the funds. It is nothing but a PR stunt until that happens.
When Trump signs those "executive orders", he is signing off on the Republican agenda. And Donald is willing to take the slings and arrows as they do their Republican deeds.
We'll see how close they come to their "balanced budget"?

Getting rid of drumptf is important, but let's not kid ourselves that it changes anything.

(2,176 posts)They will pass terrible bills very quickly with just enough red meat bills (ones average Repubs like) to appease the base. The reason they do them early is so some people who ar opposed forget by the next election. Then look for a income tax "cut" paired with a big tax increase like sales tax or liscense fees. People have a lot more coming out of pocket but don't see it.
When people who are fighting them get outrage fatigue they start the serious behind the door deals. They will punish poor areas and any less powerful group, elderly, black, women, lbgtq. And in Michigans case gross negligence became common place, poisoning a city, selling whole schools to for profit charters. All the while they gerrymandered. The next election it happens all over again.
