It really is sickening that Trump is doubling down on the racism...
I know I'm not saying anything new. And no I know there is only one Trump. The mysogynist, racist pig we saw on the campaign trail is the only Trump. It's just that we are still in a state of shock seeing him actually put all of this into action. Not that I think it will all get done necessarily. Trump needs to look powerful and decisive to his base. He's very good at showmanship and little else. Still it's just so sad and pathetic, to see the president of the united states dictate in such racist terms, that we are going to build a wall between nations and make your country pay for it. Yes certainly illegal immigration is an issue to be dealt with but said illegal immigrants actually play an extremely important role in the US economy. But aside from these issues, Mexico is one of the USs closest trading alies and friends. All international relationships, and friendships in general, are going to have tensions and imbalances that need to be diplomatically dealt with. But the way this administration is going about this is just the height of disrespect and insult. If this is how we treat our friends...
