She kicked his ass just a few minutes ago. He is very hostile to her.

(27,800 posts)To his credit, though, when that happens to him, I've seen him come back on another night seeming to have pondered what the other person said.

(47,370 posts)I don't know if he slows down and rethinks what he has said or if his producer(s) point it out to him. He gets rather hyper active at times and doesn't know how to downshift. That is usually when he starts talking over every one, pretty much like he did tonight. The next time Joy is on his show, he will tell her how "great" she is and gush all over her. Very odd, but predictable.

(46,166 posts)He smacks her down when he gets the chance. Also, David Corn gets quieted a lot on his show.
I haven't watched his show since the election so I don't know if he still lords it over Corn. But I clearly recall how disrespectful he is to Reid, too. Corn and Reid are miles smarter than CM who is a major kiss-ass and butt licker of too many Republican guests.

(20,998 posts)...and frankly, he can't hold a candle to Joy Reid.
And again, Hugh Hewitt is fucking worthless.

(5,275 posts)He lost me with his schoolgirl like gushing over Dubya after Dubya's fake victory aircraft carrier landing. I remember thinking sheesh get a room Chris.
Of course now he claims he was against Bush from the start.

(42,770 posts)lately. Hate that he fucked up tonight. Didn't see it. I would say he's about 75% dem - which is pretty good for mass media.

(31,229 posts)he seemed to dismiss Joy out of hand, repeatedly. He does the same to David Corn. He rarely lets David finish a thought before interrupting. As someone asked upthread, "wasn't he due to retire after the election"?

(2,226 posts)He likes dipshits like Kelli who put her hand on his leg. I can't stand Chris. I only watched because I like joy.

(7,963 posts)He needs to assess why he sucks so much.Perhaps just perhaps, he should do his job and call people out on their shit. I doubt it will happen but I am still pulling for him to get his head out of his ass. C'mon, tweety, you can do it!!!

(16,950 posts)was on and heard him snap at her something like he was tired of the psychobabble. Then he went on to babble saying scholars can disagree, which I guess meant to not attack Donald's insanity. But even the GOP has been calling Trump mentally unstable, so he'll have to get used to it.
On another note, I saw them both live on California primary day at the Santa Monica Pier. I got pictures! Chris sat outside for awhile waiting for the show and mostly had his back to the crowd. Joy came later and posed for pictures with fans. They greeted each other nicely that day, but I can see Chris get agitated with her like he did today. Joy can run circles around him, she is so smart and incisive. He's not.
