(12,448 posts)In addition to being unconstitutional, the rollout of this mess has been--well, a mess:
In addition to blocking all entries from seven countries, including business people, students and others, the ban is also being applied to U.S. legal residents from those nations so-called green card holders who were traveling abroad at the time the order was signed, federal officials said Saturday.
(snip)
If youve been living in the United States for 15 years and you own a business and your family is here, will you be granted a waiver? Im assuming yes, but we are working that out, said one official, who could not be more specific because details of the possible waivers remained cloudy, as did many other details of how the ban will be enforced.
Legal, illegal, what's the difference? It's like the Keystone Cops, only this isn't funny.

I hope it spreads to airports all across America.

(5,477 posts)but he probably didn't expect this wall of peaceful, patriotic, loyal Americans standing shoulder to shoulder in opposition to him and his misbegotten policies.
You wanted a wall, Mr. tRump? Well, now you've got one; it's a wall made up of worldwide elements of decent humanity standing solidly against you. Now, the only question is, "How are *YOU* going to pay for it?"

(5,477 posts)I read an article a few days ago about how we have become a solid wall of resistance against him (or, should that be 'Him'?). Mine was a very poor paraphrase of a much longer article. Wish I remembered where I saw it!

(1,366 posts)#standwithstandingrock march today, in Boise, Id. a speaker told us to close our eyes and think on who a hero is. I was thinking, of course, MLK and Gandhi, when she told us to open our eyes, there were mirrors then she said these are today's heroes! It was very inspiring! All of them there and at the other airports around the country and at capitals are all heroes!
