Because it seems like at this point nothing short of taking to the streets in daily, unrelenting and massive protest is going to stop the destruction of everything this country has come to represent to the world.

Are we really going to allow a sleazy, ignorant, bellicose manchild to rip apart that which the very best of our nation worked to build and fought to defend? We're dealing with enemies of the state who live and think in a fantasy world of their own devising that is at odds with everything that is decent in this world. Every day brings a MAJOR new assault on the very fabric and core of these United States.

We cannot count on Rs at any level to step up and save the nation. They will continue to support anything and everything the autocrat decrees. Senate Ds aren't much help, either.

It's up to we citizens. We have got to get organized, and fast.

What he hasn't done is staff the government. I don't know who he thinks is going to carry out these orders since he doesn't have those people in place.


I think the attack should be on his entire administration's inability to govern. It would further de-legitimize his Presidency and it is an attack which can be continued for as long as he is in office.

i agree with you completely. however, it would surprise me greatly if such protests happened weekly, let alone daily. a great many people are concerned about their jobs, rightly so as becoming unemployed in the next few years would appear to be a serious mistake. given that and our current low unemployment rate, massive daily protests = a big stretch. conversely, should a great many people suddenly become unemployed, such protests could definitely happen. by then, it could well be too late.
