Republicans - The Enemy Within

The Republicans knew that Trump was unfit to hold any office, no less the presidency, but they nominated him anyway.

The Republicans knew that Trump is a pathological liar, but they campaigned for him anyway.

The Republicans knew that Trump is mentally unstable, but they supported his bid for the presidency anyway.

The Republicans knew that Trump is a racist and a bigot, but they encouraged their constituents to vote for him anyway.

The Republicans knew that Trump has never in his life done anything to anyone’s benefit other than his own, but they placed him in a position where he can do extreme harm to millions.

The Republicans knew that Trump’s behaviour is erratic, unhinged, and literally borders on insanity, but they put him in the most powerful position on the face of the earth anyway.

The Republicans knew that Trump’s oft-stated policies would be detrimental to their fellow citizens, and the nation as a whole. But they elected him anyway.

The Republicans knew that Trump’s ego is out of control, and that he has a long history of seeking revenge against anyone who opposes him, or even criticizes him. But they put him in the White House anyway.

The Republicans knew that Trump has NO political experience, NO understanding of the responsibilities of leading a nation, NO knowledge whatsoever of the global community and how it operates. But they elevated him to the position of POTUS anyway – a position that requires extraordinary intelligence, skill, ability, and a cool-headed grasp of every situation that presents itself, both domestically and internationally.

The Republicans knew that Trump cannot be trusted, cannot be relied upon, cannot be controlled, cannot be expected to act in the best interests of the citizenry. But they stood by his side and promoted his rise to power anyway.

The Republicans knew that Trump is viewed as an incompetent imbecile by the leaders of nations the world over, and has already diminished our nation’s standing on the world stage. But they chose to ignore that reality and put a buffoon in the Oval Office anyway.

The Republicans knew that once elected, Trump would cause chaos, would do irreparable harm to our country and its citizens, would inflame our enemies, and would trigger disastrous events the world over. But they praised his insanity, dismissed his incompetence, and rallied behind his obvious stupidity.

And then there is this:

The powers-that-be in the Republican Party most certainly knew about Trump’s Russian ties, and kept that knowledge to themselves. There are Republicans who are complicit in treason against our country by promoting the presidency of a man known to be in debt to Russian banks and investors. There are Republicans who continue to stand in silence while their own country is being led by a man whose personal financial empire is dependent on the whims of Vladimir Putin, our sworn enemy.

There are Republicans who don’t care if their own countrymen suffer and die for lack of affordable healthcare, who don’t care if our children go hungry, who don’t care if our vets are looked after, who don’t care if women and LGBTers lose their rights, and who don’t care if a bloviating idiot sparks WWIII.

The Republicans ARE Enemies of the State. They ARE everything that Americans have loathed since the infancy of our democracy, everything we abhor about other nations that allow the suppression of human rights. They represent governance by a would-be dictator over governance by the People.

But we, the People, are not powerless. Put the blame for our present situation where it belongs – the Republicans. If you post on political websites, NAME THEM. If you participate in social media, NAME THEM. If you engage in conversation with strangers at the grocery store, NAME THEM. Remind everyone you come in contact with that Republicans are responsible for electing a narcissistic idiot to the presidency, and are therefore to blame for the downfall of what was once a great nation.

Never hesitate to tie the Republicans to what is now unfolding, and what will unfold in the days to come. Never miss an opportunity to connect the loss of our democracy to the Republicans who enabled that loss. Never pass up the chance to put a noose around the Republicans’ necks, and tighten it as though your life depended on it – because right now, it does.

It is not enough to bring down Trump. It is imperative that we bring down the Republican Party – the party that enabled him and continues to support him. The Enemy has shown its face. Now is the time to put a name to that face - Republicans - and spit in it.

2. When McConnell anoucned the

total blocking of Obama's Supreme Court Pick in Late June. That was my clue that something or someone put the fix in. When the Comey Letter hit 10 days before the Election,that proved it.


McConnell became the treasonous Senator sometime early Summer and it became a situation of,well if I can get a Majority in the Senate,I know nothing or see nothing.

McConnell said "we'll do everything to make sure he's a one term president". they fought him on everything.

6. That I was aware of about the second day after it happened.

Harry Reid and other Democrats knew about this the same day and did not call him out and as a result,
the consequence were a Nation in crisis.

The Good Old Boy Network in D.C. will create what we see today.

My reference is related to the total national Treason McConnell committed by stopping Investigation into Russian Hacking. At that time frame,he boldly pronounced his decisions to not hold Judaical Hearings. He knew what the game plan was and it involved him getting a Iron Clad Senate and that was more important than the National strength of our country.
