and we are expending additional public resources. It can't be good for the economy (this is besides the entire moral argument). This is a short term impact. Longer term will be crushing for the economy as well.

the republicans are overplaying their hand from the results of this election. The stakes are much higher this time, and millions of more lives are at stake.
