We may seem to many outsiders as overfed, over entertained and lazy, but they think that at their peril. Once pissed off, we move like a landslide, barely perceptible at first, but with indescribable power once we start moving.

PS---I sat next to a woman from Kingston a couple days ago while I was flying home from St Petersburg and Moscow, through JFK. It was her first trip North--Upstate NY... She was afraid it might snow...I reassured her all would be fine...
