Here is a possible strategy that tweeters, famous folks, and regular folks -- anyone openly criticizing trump or calling for him to change his ways -- could consider.
People should point out that "everyone knows" bannon is really runnng the show; that "people are saying" bannon is the real man, not trump; bannon is the one calling the shots while trump is clueless; and that trump should be embarrassed by only pretending to run things..
Keep in mind that dominance, shame, and appearances are all trump understands. Also keep in mind that bannon is actually wreaking the most havoc (with trump as his puppet) and that trump is clueless about civics in general much less the presidency.

(906 posts)But not just with Bannon they can start with him
and then Kellyann etc it will drive him nuts...............oh wait....... I think he already.....
Sunny05
(865 posts)Yeah, those are good ideas, too. I thought of bannon first b/c he is, largely if not wholly, running the show. Plus bannon has a way of controlling trump; so trump won't listen to others over bannon -- unless people get into trump's mind w/ what trump understands. But you raise a good point w/ kellyanne, esp. given trump's misogyny.
Thanks, and take care!

(10,302 posts)I don't know who is pulling his strings. Bannon isn't a puppetmaster though.

(865 posts)Plus he understands the world in terms of dominance, he-man stuff. Whether bannon is partly or mostly pulling strings, he's doing something. Plus it's more substantive than it should be and also more substantive than what trump is doing even if what bannon is doing were at appropriate level.
Well, anyway, thanks ... see ya' round ...

(865 posts)of many things I have read in reliable news source (same ones/types that would be cited on DU) AND from DUers themselves.
Anyway, I do think efforts to convince him that what he does is unconstitutional, is unfair to innocent people, etc., will fail, in part because he does not care, in part because he will think people are "out to get him" by explaining these things, but mostly because
bannon will convince him otherwise.
Thank you, and take care.
