Morning Joe blames 'very young' Trump advisor for travel ban disaster: 'This weekend was a disgrace'

TRAVIS GETTYS
30 JAN 2017 AT 07:54 ET

President Donald Trump’s foreign policy team issued a warning over the weekend to the White House staff, according to MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough.

“We hope the staff, the young staff members at the White House, enjoyed their time trying to make policy on their own without talking to us, because that will never happen again,” Scarborough said, paraphrasing what those officials told him during extensive meetings. “The exact quote was, ‘The chain is tightening quickly.'”

The host of “Morning Joe” said top officials in the executive branch were particularly angry at Stephen Miller, the senior White House advisor for policy, for restructuring the National Security Council to include Steve Bannon, the president’s chief strategist.

The pair have reportedly been writing executive orders without consulting federal agency lawyers or lawmakers, which has rankled top officials within the executive branch.

“You’ve got a very young person in the White House on a power trip thinking that you can just write executive orders and tell all of your other cabinet agencies to go to hell, and Washington’s in an uproar this morning — forget about what’s happening in the street — because Stephen Miller decided he was going to do this without going through the regular inter-agency process,” Scarborough said.

Spin, spin, spin the lies. So this one young guy put Bannon on the council, put out the directive and nobody else knew? Mind, DT didn't disavow the order, in fact, they tried to lay it at Obama's feet. And they say this was a former Sessions' staffer, did Sessions' have a hand in this.

Those two aiders and abettors need to be taken off the air, MSNBC will rue the day if they don't.

after Trump used a fake pic claiming he wrote it. Now, by all accounts, Bannon and Miller are writing the EO drafts aaaaand they're blaming the young staff - who literally are being out in place in a daily basis (complete lack of planning).

We're going with the "rogue staff" dodge already? President Trump himself said everything was going just swell on Saturday before popping "Finding Dory" into the White House Blu-Ray player and spending the rest of the weekend fumbling three remotes, trying to figure out how to watch the cartoon.

:...On Friday, in a Pentagon room dedicated to men and women who have received the country’s highest military decoration, the Medal of Honor, Mr. Mattis, now the country’s defense secretary, stood behind his new commander in chief, President Trump, as he signed an executive order on immigration. The order suspended entry of all refugees to the United States for 120 days, barred Syrian refugees indefinitely and blocked entry for 90 days for citizens of seven predominantly Muslim countries. It also allows Christians to be granted priority over Muslims..."

Oh he know words...big ones in fact; but perhaps there really are no reading compression skills to be found in our temporary president.

Can executive orders have pictures? That might help.

To think that a cautiously judicious and thoughtful person like president Bannon actually trusted this whippernapper, when Miller summarily shoved the EO under his underling's orange nose for a quick signature. OK then, given what "Morning Joe" has revealed, from now on all White House millennials are restricted to the on-site day care facility!

buddies with neo- Nazi Richard Spencer at Duke. While he's reprehensible and needs to go, I can't understand why Bannon is being let off the hook. He's the far more dangerous one because he's got more power.
