son move to Washington, he can say that moving and changing schools would be too difficult for Baron and that Baron needs his father full-time. Therefore, he (Trump) has made the decision to do what is best for his family and resign the presidency to devote his time to his family in their time of need blah, blah, blah.
Pence is just as bad with the exception of not being bat-shit crazy.

(11,175 posts)He signs a big tax cut, deregulates all over the place, puts a picked team of RWNJs in place in the executive branch, restores a conservative majority on the Supreme Court, and bags a few other accomplishments or things that he can spin as accomplishments. (Starting the wall and repealing Obamacare might turn out to be heavier lifts than he can manage.) Then, after a year or two, he announces that he came to Washington to drain the swamp and he's succeeded. At this point he can leave the government in Pence's capable hands. He can do the country more good by returning to the private sector, building more of his beautiful buildings, and creating thousands of jobs.
I'm not saying this will happen. Still, it's not impossible that he'll get bored with the job and will want a face-saving exit, and something like this would be more plausible than a sudden concern for his family.
