Another analogy for the unfortuate President Trump vs. President Pence dilemma.

Let's say someone is in a horrible car accident, and they are bleeding profusely.

Let's also say this person is currently undergoing treatment for cancer.

If the person gets rushed to the hospital, first things first, right? You do what you need to do to stop the bleeding or else the person will die right then and there.

Then, once you get the person stabilized, then you can consider going forward again with the cancer treatment and hopefully beating the cancer.

So, for those keeping score, Trump equals mass bleeding and trauma, and Pence equals cancer. Both need to be addressed in order for the person to live, but there has to be a priority in things. And right now we're in danger of bleeding out.

Same injured diseased person is lying on ground and must be treated immediately. Then a bunch of criminal thugs with weapons, all wearing stolen paramedic uniforms, rush in shouting and pushing everybody aside as they swarm the patient, causing fear and confusion, allowing no one near to help.

Restraints are applied, even though the patient is unconscious and no threat. The patient is tasered several times.

A crowd of people gather, and soon find they can go nowhere near the injured person to find out what is really happening. The thugs prevent anyone from making an examination, removing the restraints, or starting lifesaving treatment. Police arrive and the criminal thugs claim the crowd injured the man on the ground, and they are only protecting the patient from the hooligans in the crowd. The police agree with the thugs, and pull their weapons to keep the crowd away.

Meanwhile, the patient is dying. There are real doctors present who could help, but they are arrested when they try.

now what do we do?
