If Trump cuts approval time for new drugs, he'll also give Big Pharma a firewall against lawsuits

Much as the pharmaceutical companies want to get new drugs to market more quickly, they will not want to be liable for lawsuits that will follow when patients are harmed because there wasn't enough testing.
