Although i am convinced that everyone was doing that and NE is the one who got caught.

But, i still don't believe there was any cheating with the football air pressure. The gas law explains 100% of everything identified, especially if the QB preference was to have the inflation in the bottom 50% of the permitted range. Under that scenario, anything under 12.8 psig was going to be "illegal" 3 hours after sitting in conditions that were 23 kelvins lower than when they were inflated. I did the math myself.

You want to hate them for their politics, i get that. I'm not nuts about it either. But, if you're going to hate them for cheating, hate them for when it actually was cheating.

Robert Kraft: Donald Trump’s Policies ‘Are Going to Be Great’ for America

While it’s up for debate whether or not the Patriots have a Trump problem, the Patriots owner has no problem whatsoever with Trump.

In an interview with the New York Times this week, Robert Kraft lavished praise on the President-Elect, whom he considers a dear friend. The two first met when Trump invited Kraft to play at his golf course in West Palm Beach, and as recently as November, the Brookline native was spotted inside Trump’s eponymous Manhattan tower.

About the plight of the poor and middle class in the last decade, he thinks they are being crushed. He and his wife (she since passed away) donated $25 million dollars in around 2010 for training of Doctors that would agree to serve underserved communities during their residencies and first years of practice, some of the money was also to be used to set up office space and medical equipment for said Doctors.

On Kraft's affinity to Trump. Kraft recently pointed out that Trump was one of only five people that kept in touch with him during the difficult year after his wife passed, one of the other people was John Kerry, a good Kraft friend who is often sitting with the Krafts in the owner's box.

On economic support for Trump. Kraft supports Trump's alleged goal to bring economic revitalization to inner cities and economic depressed parts of America, which I think is a nobel goal, although I think Trump is conning people, even Kraft. Kraft has done a lot to help revitalize southern New England around Foxborough, using his own money to set up shopping, entertainment and light industry complexes. Personally, I wish Kraft would work with people like the owner of Quicken Loans to revitalize inner cities, but beyond his large medicine donation and his activity in southern New England, he seems to not have figured out that he could work with other well meaning rich people to accomplish his social goals and not rely on a person like Trump.
Kraft contributed a large amount of money to Obama 2008. I don't know about 2012, since Massachusetts Statie Mitt Romney was running against Obama.

Belichick said. "Our friendship goes back many years."

He continued: "I think anybody that has spent more than five minutes with me knows I'm not a political person. My comments are not politically motivated -- the friendship and loyalty to Donald. A couple of weeks ago, we had Secretary of State [John] Kerry in our locker room [after a win over the Pittsburgh Steelers]. He's another friend of mine. I can't imagine two people with more different political views than those two. But to me, friendship and loyalty is just about that. It's not about political or religious views.

"I write hundreds of letters and notes every month," Belichick said. "It doesn't mean I agree with every single thing that every person thinks about politics or religion or other subjects. But I have multiple friendships that are important to me, and that's what that was about. So it's not about politics. It's about football. We have a huge game this week against a great football team, a great organization, and that's where it all is going forward. On to Seattle."

Julio Jones will be rendered largely ineffective via double coverage for most of the game, I imagine. And Brady is the master of varying his weapons from one game to the next. Edelman could have a huge day. Hogan could have a huge day. Dion Lewis, Martellus Bennett (not as big a day as Gronk would have though), LeGarrette Blount could all explode. Like you said, it's just a matter of where Atlanta is weakest, and then New England will be all over that.

Gisele Bündchen — wife of NFL superstar Tom Brady — flatly rejected Donald Trump’s assertion that her husband had voted for the GOP nominee.

“NO!” the Brazilian model told an Instagram user who asked if it were true that she and Brady were backing the brash billionaire.

Trump told supporters at a rally in Manchester, New Hampshire, on Monday that the New England Patriots star quarterback and his head coach, Bill Belichick, had endorsed his White House bid.

The real estate mogul doubled down on that claim Tuesday morning in a phone interview with “Fox & Friends,” telling the co-hosts that Brady called him personally and Belichick wrote him a letter.

Congratulations on a tremendous campaign. You have to help with an unbelievable slanted and negative media and have come out beautifully. You have proven to be the ultimate competitor fighter. Your leadership is amazing. I have always had tremendous respect for you for the toughness and perseverance you have displayed over the past year is remarkable. Hopefully tomorrow’s election, the results will give the opportunity to make America great again.

Best wishes for great results tomorrow,

-Bill Belichick

care about their politics and don't have a dog in this fight, but I'm still pulling for Atlanta. They've never won a SB before while NE has 4. I want to see different teams gaining success instead of the same few.

Just because someone does not share my politics doesn't mean I need to erase them from my life. If it did, I'd have no immediate family members.

Neither Kraft, Belichik nor Brady stumped for or expressly endorsed Trump, and no one here knows what any of them did in the voting booth. Who knows what they say in the privacy of their own homes around the dinner table?

Brady played golf with Trump well before Trump became a candidate, and Melania aspired to be a supermodel with Giselle when Melania was still a gold-digger, if not escort, unlawfully residing in the US while looking for a sugar daddy. I'm really not concerned that Kraft, Belichik or Brady may have wished Trump well after Trump won the election.

charitable efforts that they have done for years. They aren't examples of greedy rich people. I really don't know why they are loyal to Trump, but I also don't understand why the Atlanta owner, who also is a big philanthropist supports Trump.

For healthcare for underserved people and their efforts to fight and end hunger. Belichick also is a major philanthropist. It is easy to hate decent people when one imposes an absolute purity test.

I expect Jones and Sanu to largely get shutdown and Falcon running backs to get largely stymied by the Patriots massive defensive line and linebackers. Ryan will largely be left with trying to beat the Patriots by throwing to receivers that are not used to being key cogs.

will be seen in their first few drives. The NE secondary will step up and swarm their WRs-- It's possible for them to compete if Jones makes catches early on. But don't be lulled by the sport's writers from the ATL into thinking this will be a close game. New England's offense is one of their best in years. Also, the Goodell chip on Brady's shoulder is going to make this a blowout.

NE - 38

ATL- 13

Bread and Circus (minus the bread nowadays).

Don't worry about the flaming ship we're all on, everbody concentrate on your fantasy football picks while your wifey watches "Dancing with the Stars".

The minority players, hell, any player with a conscience, should flat refuse to play in protest of the stolen election and ongoing destruction of our country. That would get attention.

In fact, Ga Ga should openly insult Trump during halftime. Maybe moon the cameras to enrage the Christo-facists before calling for a General Strike starting next week.

ALL POWER TO THE PEOPLE!!!

But, of course, I'll watch just like everybody else. Gotta get your mind off shit once in awhile.

Now where's the weed...

89. The Patriots don't cheat.
Tue Jan 31, 2017, 05:24 PM

Spygate was a matter of the Patriots filming from a location where teams normally did not film from, all teams filmed their opponent, usually from the booth or stands, the Patriots had a person on the sideline, which the NFL subsequently deemed unusual, but not illegal.

If you think Brady had footballs deflated, then you don't understand a reality of nature called the Ideal Gas Law. The law says that any gas exposed to it's environment will take on a Pressure and Volume that is dictated by the environment. In regards to the Patriots-Colts game, balls exposed to the wet, cold weather that night shrunk to a lower Pressure and Volume. The NFL read all Patriots balls, but only two of the Colts balls (one of which had low pressure and the second which was just in spec). Some of the Patriots balls were just in spec and some had low pressure - each team had something like 12 game balls and 4 or 5 kicking balls.

The Wells Report relied on scientific analysis performed by Exponent and supported by Dr. Daniel Marlow, a professor of Physics at Princeton University. This analysis concluded that within the range of game conditions and circumstances studied, no set of environmental or physical factors could account for the loss of air pressure exhibited by the Patriots game balls. The scientific study supported the report's conclusion that the loss of air pressure may be accounted for by human intervention.[12]:130–31
