I'm thinking either she's anticipating he'll be impeached at some point and won't bother to move her stuff in, or she's glad to get away from him and his crazy cabal.

My guess is that all she wants is to be a trophy wife. I doubt she wants any kind of public role. She probably recognizes she's out of her league with this, and would just as soon stay in the gilded penthouse.
