NPR Morning Guest Repeats Myth that Clintons Trashed White House, Not Challenged

Why can't a reporter just bring stuff like this up?

I just found myself mesmerized by it and wasted an hour reading the thing. Not a black and white situation, but clearly the Bush people wanted everyone to hear their whining.

"Now it seems those closely detailed stories were largely bunk. Last week it was revealed that a formal review by the General Accounting Office, Congress’ investigative agency, “had found no damage to the offices of the White House’s East or West Wings or EOB” and that Bush’s own representatives had reported “there is no record of damage that may have been deliberately caused by the employees of the Clinton administration.”

While cautious GSA staffers won’t issue a blanket exoneration of the Clinton team, Bernard Ungar, the agency’s director of physical infrastructure, told Salon the media clearly exaggerated the extent of the damage. According to the terse GSA statement that formed the basis of Ungar’s conclusion, “the condition of the real property was consistent with what we would expect to encounter when tenants vacate office space after an extended occupancy.”

And, to do so, they go to great lengths in servicing the GOP's propaganda. They've even issued a statement explaining that they "can't" call Trump's statements "lies" unless they can demonstrate that he knowingly and deliberately intended to deceive.

Yesterday they ran a puff-piece in which their correspondent Eyder Peralta journeyed all the way to Kenya to find "the Parliament of the Common Man."

According to Peralta, "I came to the Parliament of the Common Man to talk about President Trump. What I found was a bunch of guys who loved him. Here's Robert Okiberenge."

Not content to sing Trump's praises domestically, NPR is more than willing to venture abroad to find his supporters.

If they would grow a spine.

Snowflake journalists who let such blatant lies go unchallenged should be fired.

Contact NPR and let them know that it is wrong to let Republicans spew lies without challenge or correction.
