What if Trump is a vehicle for Bannons ideological project?

What if Trump is a vehicle for Bannon’s ideological project?

In the weeks since Donald Trump’s inauguration as US President, it has become clear that he intends to roll back to the starting block the progressive egalitarian agenda that is commonly associated with political correctness — not just in the US, but globally.

Stephen Bannon, Trump’s White House Svengali and former CEO of the extreme-right Breitbart News, has long pursued this ideological project, and we now know that what he or Trump says must be taken both seriously and literally.

Trump’s transition was initially reassuring, because he nominated many undeniably serious (if also seriously well-heeled) people to his cabinet. But after the inauguration all hell broke loose as Trump and Bannon began to implement their project in earnest.

The ideological project that Trump and Bannon will seek to carry out could have far-reaching geopolitical and economic implications that should worry not only progressives, but also dyed-in-the-wool conservatives like me. To understand how far they are willing to go, one must understand their ultimate aims.

Trump cares very little for detailed policy matters but absolutely loves the glory of the office and the power he welds, and the personal attention that gets thrust upon him.

Bannon's physical appearance screams "guy in the shadows" who's not interested in being the guy at the center but rather the one who influences the guy in the center to go where he wants him to go.

Independently they're not nearly as dangerous as they are together. Together they're incredibly scary.

he jumped on board the crazy train and manipulated/intimidated his long time partner into obeying his every evil whim.

Another possibility is Bannon's a Russian agent. I almost think that's more believable at this point.

are the ones that are the conspirators. This was the plan all along. Alex Jones, Breitbart, Bannon, white supremacist groups many others have broadcast there lies on the radio, on the internet and even shortwave radio. I have been fascinated with these people for years. Going back decades. They talked about a takeover. A subversive takeover. They talked about being under the radar because that was the only way they could do it considering they did not have considerable political power. We are witnessing a coup. A real coup. This is not a fantasy.

because their voters were so easy to play.
Now he realizes he was right and has become America's first white supremacist's hero. All the way to the White House and he is going to dance with the one who brung him. Namely, Steve Bannon.
So, yes, Bannon is calling the shots. Couple that with Putin, and Trump is already the figurehead he always wanted to be. Just like the Queen of England.
Maybe we should start calling him Queen Donald.
