One of my fave snippets of his speech was how his interpretation of his right to impose the ban (anyway he wants) is the only one that has any merit and that the judges last night on the panel (one in particular) were obviously motivated politically. He said, "I was a good student, I understand things, I comprehend very well, better than, I think, almost anybody, and I want to tell you, I listened to a bunch of stuff last night on television that was disgraceful."

He will NEVER explain that the process to get a VISA or whatever documents are required to enter the U.S. is already a lengthy process that can take many months up to two years to complete. But the mental image he creates of people "pouring in"...presumably toting their bomb making equipment in their valise....works to convince some that the extreme vetting he advocates is necessary for our well being and safety.

The propaganda that oozes from tRump's mouth every chance he gets in front of a camera or microphone is so disturbing and should set off alarm bells in every one of us. But to his base it is music to their ears and it keeps them engaged and listening to him. If he can lure a few more to his flock of racist, zenophobic followers, so much the better for him.

I don't know how much longer this vile, disgusting man will be allowed to spew his hateful rhetoric and litany of lies, but the longer this goes on the greater the peril to our nation and its way of governance.

I had a run-in with two last Saturday. They are convinced people are "flooding in" to this country. They shouted it at me for 15 minutes about it.

I listened a while, then asked how they could "flood in", when every person entering from overseas, citizen or not, has to pass through customs enforcement. Silence.

You know what story they won't discuss? Trump teamed up with Russia to win an election. That one makes them question any support they have for Trump. At least the two I encountered seemed to have a real problem with that one.
