I give him until the Ides of March, that would be a very fitting date. He will belly wail about how he was betrayed by everyone. Then Trump will waddle off to the sweet sound of a distant Balalaika

(3,741 posts)but we throw them off kilter until the midterms when hopefully the Dems take over the House and Senate. I didn't realize that after Speaker of the House (Paul Ryan), the President pro tem (Oran Hatch) then becomes President of the US !!!!! It does get worse doesn't it?

Think in terms of regime change (thru the ballot box, the court, and public opinion).

(14,491 posts)I expect Pence to get hauled in by the FBI before that happens. Pence is in a cover his ass mode. He will spill his guts and blame trump for everything. He is hoping to hold on to become president. I doubt he will.
IMO Trump better hurry up and close GITMO or he will find himself a resident there.

If things get bad enough, the administration is more likely to turtle, ending media contact and the daily press briefings. Donald will just sign all bills handed to him and announce Executive Orders by tweet. Fox News and Breitbart will continue to feed the base. As long as Sessions isn't willing to bring charges there is no reason to leave.
