Here is the proof that the Trump campaign had early contacts with Russia Intelligence

They went to the mat at the convention for a radical and surprising reversal of sanctions against Russia. There was no electoral advantage in making the change. They were sending a signal that they would bring the bacon home after the election.

Trump campaign guts GOPís anti-Russia stance on Ukraine

The Trump campaign worked behind the scenes last week to make sure the new Republican platform wonít call for giving weapons to Ukraine to fight Russian and rebel forces, contradicting the view of almost all Republican foreign policy leaders in Washington.

Throughout the campaign, Trump has been dismissive of calls for supporting the Ukraine government as it fights an ongoing Russian-led intervention. Trumpís campaign chairman, Paul Manafort, worked as a lobbyist for the Russian-backed former Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovych for more than a decade.

Still, Republican delegates at last weekís national security committee platform meeting in Cleveland were surprised when the Trump campaign orchestrated a set of events to make sure that the GOP would not pledge to give Ukraine the weapons it has been asking for from the United States.

5. Me too. Remember the Trump campaign couldn't care less about any other part of the platform

Choice? Sure why not

Tax policy, less but no details.

The only thing that they fought for was not supplying Ukraine with defensive arms.

7. I remember it was seen as particularly odd since the campaign was pretty hands-off with so much of

the platform. But on this issue, they asserted their authority.
